EMERGENCY TREE CARE

Storms may cause limbs or entire trees to fall, often landing on other trees, homes and other structures, or cars. The weight of storm-damaged trees is great, and they can be dangerous to remove or trim. We can assist in performing the job in a safe manner, while reducing further risk of damage to property and the welfare of the public.

TREE FELLING

The tree is either felled or dismantled in sections. Felling dead, dying or diseased and damaged trees makes an area safer and allows other trees to thrive.

TREE SURGERY

Removing Dead, Dying or Diseased branches throughout the Tree: This involves the precise removal of dead, dying or diseased branches throughout the Tree without causing any damage to the tree itself. Overhaul: This includes the removal of deadwood, diseased and dying wood, broken or split branches, epicormic growth, and basal suckers if requested and crossing or rubbing branches. Crown Thinning: This includes overhauling the crown and the thinning out of the crown in order to allow the wind to travel more freely through the crown and to reduce the wind sail. Crown Reduction: Crown reduction can allow the continued conservation of trees where structural problems might otherwise demand the loss of a tree. Crown reduction is often required to compensate for loss of root viability. Crown Raising: The removal of the lowest branches that effectively increase the height of the main crown above ground level. Pollarding: Heavy crown reduction pruning or pollarding techniques are sometimes appropriate where the crown of a tree is simply too large for its location or in instances where extensive defects and weaknesses might make the tree unstable.
