Founded in 1992, The Mortgage Shop has grown to become one of the country's leading brokers and the only all-island mortgage intermediary. With 29 shops in Northern Ireland, 23 across the Republic with plans for further shops firmly in the pipeline.
Official figures from the Council of Mortgage Lenders indicated that The Mortgage Shop placed one in ten mortgages in Northern Ireland in 2005, and that this figure had risen to one in eight by mid-2007.
The growth reflects The Mortgage Shop’s high standards of professionalism, efficiency and quality of service along with their dedication to helping each individual find the best mortgage solution to suit their individual lifestyle.
Spurred on by its success and by the wealth of opportunity available in the Irish property market, the company has immediate plans for additional branches on both sides of the border and aims to grow its all-island footprint to more than fifty shops within three years.
