Pilates

Pilates is a low impact exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. Pilates called his method Contrology because his method uses the mind to control the muscles, now known as motor control. The method focuses on the uniform even development of the body using smooth, controlled precise movements. In order to correct muscle imbalances and tone your body it is necessary to lengthen tight muscles and strengthen weak ones.Thereafter we can teach our bodies the right muscle combinations and movement patterns for pain free function.




Therapies

massage - remedial, deep and sports to release tension and relax you, break down adhesions and flush out toxins. trigger point therapy - finding specific knots or points in muscles that trigger pain. cupping therapy - an ancient Chinese method of healing using glass suction cups. This helps to draw healing properties into problem areas and break down adhesions or knots in muscles. exercise therapy - tailored fun exercise programs for each individual.
