McGuireDesmond was first established in January 2000, with the aim of becoming one of Munster's leading law firms. Every action since then has been taken with this aim in mind.

We are now widely recognized as a firm who offers excellent corporate and commercial expertise across every facet of business law. We have a team of over 25 members, each of whom has only been brought on board only after careful consideration of how their unique qualities could enhance the firm as a whole. We are one of the few niche practices in the South of Ireland who specialise in both legal and tax issues. Our taxation and company secretarial services are carried out through our tax company Desmond Tax & Corporate Services Limited.

We are unique in the Munster region due to the dual aspects of our business in providing both legal and taxation services. We deal primarily in complex and diverse taxation planning matters for both businesses and individuals. A large part of the work we do is carried out through collaboration between the two entities within our office, which provides excellent learning opportunities for our staff to become more aware of the legal constraints and opportunities facing tax planning.
