The Hickey family have been in the storage business since 1915 and David Hickey, the fourth generation, is proud to carry on the family tradition of providing storage facilities to the Munster region.
“Limerick Carting Company was established in 1915 and registered as a trader in 1918 by William Hickey, my great grand father, which was later run by my grand father, Paddy Hickey. In the 1960’s my father, Derek Hickey, entered the business and the company was re-branded in 1973 to become Hickey Group Ltd. I entered the company in the year 2000 and setup Limerick Self Storage in 2001.”

Heated Units
Limerick Self Storage has the only heated facility in the country. Your dry, clean and secure storage room can be rented for as short as a month for as long as you like. The facility has plenty of free parking and we have handling equipment to help you move your goods in and out of the units. We also have a large amount packaging materials available to help make your move that bit easier.
Security
We have built a facility where your prized possessions are stored in individually alarmed units. Our fire and alarmed system is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a remote monitoring station.
