This course provides staff with a vast amount of techniques to prevent aggression or violence from happening. The focus is on aggression diffusion techniques, on how to avoid conflict and the key aspects of personal safety.

Conflict Management Training 2 – Personal Safety & Breakaway Techniques

This course is delivered in two parts. Part one of the day provides staff with as many techniques as possible to prevent aggression or violence from occurring. Trainers focus on aggression diffusion techniques, on how to avoid conflict and the key aspects of personal safety. Part two focuses on simple break away techniques designed to allow the participant to escape from some common grabs and holds.

Conflict Management FETAC Level 6

In Ireland, workers are suffering more physical abuse in the workplace than many of their European counterparts. Many organisations who deal directly with the public are reporting an increase in incidents of aggression and abuse towards their staff. The aim of this course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence to understand and resolve these situations of conflict that arise. Participants are shown simple, effective, proven techniques that can be used in any workplace to reduce aggression and safely manage conflict.
