My name is Sean Treacy, I created Hunter Treacy Tailors Two Years after my wedding. Why? Because I was let down by a Tailored Suit Company in Dublin who didn’t deliver my Made To Measure Tailored Suit and left me out of pocket €1,400. This was two weeks before my wedding day!
I never want a Groom to have to go through what I did so that’s why I founded Hunter Treacy Tailors.
It took a long time and lots of trips to Italy (it’s a hard life!) to find the perfect partners for our Made to Measure Suits and after a pilot period, we launched in January 2020, we had two amazing months of business before Covid-19 came along but thankfully we’re firing on all cyclinders again!
We operate out of Sam’s Barbers in Dublin & Tom Winters Barbers in Cork.
We want to remove the stuffiness and pretentious overtones from Made to Measure Suits. We’re a down to earth small operation based in Dublin. We don’t have a big team, so you don’t need to pay for it. We can provide our fabrics at a much more competitive price than other Made to Measure Suit Companies. We source and use only the finest quality fabrics and our suits are made using the latest technology to ensure a perfect fit, every time.
Our approach is to meet you first, understand your requirements for your Made to Measure Suit – is the suit for work, do you want to get some smart casual clothing made, do you need something with flair?
We then take measurements, show you our available fabrics, talk through the details – Gurkha pants? Peak Lapels? Buttons for Braces? Cuff length etc.
We’ll make sure you’re happy with the fabrics and styles and once everything is confirmed, you’ll be on your way. We’ll follow up with the invoice then once it’s paid, your suit will arrive in 6-8 weeks.
