Driver Theory Testing

The questions you will be asked in your driver theory test are based on the Rules of the Road and current road traffic legislation in Ireland. The Driver Theory Testing Service has a bank of 1,250 questions. For each test, a random selection of 40 questions will be used from the question bank.There are 40 questions in the test and 35 must be answered correctly to pass. Time allowed to answer the questions is 45 minutes. A Touch Screen Computer is used for the test and answers are selected by touching the screen. You don't need to be computer literate and you can do a practice session before you start the test. The test is scored automatically and results are made available immediately. The Pass Certificate is given to sucessful candidates at the Test Centre.
