Display Systems was founded in 1973 by TONY KEOGH. Tony start out travelling across Ireland selling a versatile glass cube system which proved very popular and which is still popular today with many retailers. As the business grew, Display Systems expanded into custom-built Octanorm aluminium framed counters and showcases. Through this the company established a steady client base of jewellers, gift shops and some semi state organisations, such as Aer Rianta, OPW and FÁS.
As the demand for displays increased throughout the 80’s, Tony employed his first sale rep and diversified and secured the distribution rights for Fairfield displays and lighting products in Ireland. This included the highly versatile cable and rod systems which rapidly expanded into a full range of information and product displays. As a result of many requests for alternative and more cost effective showcases and counters, DSL sourced two Italian suppliers of attractive and easily assembled flat pack cases. Stylish with a range of uses and in various sizes, these cases quickly proved popular.
