Freesat

Freesat is a free-to-air digital satellite television joint venture between the BBC and ITV plc, which was designed for customers in the UK and is available in Ireland. There are a number of Freesat receivers available and they all have a 7-day Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) The basic box is a standard definition (SD) single-tuner Freesat receiver. It will connect to your TV using a scart lead. You won’t receive HD channels from this receiver The next receiver is a high definition (HD) single-tuner. It connects to your TV via a HDMI cable and you will receive available channels in HD.

SAORVIEW

SAORVIEW is Ireland’s first free-to-air digital terrestrial television (DTT) service Saorview requires a small antennae (aerial). Depending on signal in your area, this aerial may be located in your attic or externally. Digisats can supply and install the hardware required to get you up and running.

Servicing & Repairs

Service call rates start from €70. However, before you call us, the first thing you should do is “re-boot” your receiver. You can do this by unplugging from the MAINS and plugging back in. In many cases this may resolve the problem.
