Line Dancing Record

The Line Dance will take place on the racetrack in front of the Line Dancinggrandstand which will certainly be a spectacle and it will be performed to a piece of music by Shania Twain (her ancestors are allegedly from Newbridge). The race day which features a strong country & western theme will include a live concert by Mike Denver after the last race in the main enclosure.

Curragh Goes Country

The Curragh Racecourse and Gain Horse Feeds have put together an exciting programme of events to celebrate the Gain Irish St Leger taking place on Sunday mikedenver web box15th September. In addition to world class racing, featuring both the Group 1 Gain Irish St Leger and Group 1 Goffs Vincent O’Brien National Stakes, there will be an exciting Irish country music theme featuring a live concert by singing sensation Mike Denver after the last race and an attempt to create a Line Dancing record. The exciting variety of entertainment off the track will also include the chance for one stylish lady to win a spectacular VIP trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian GamesTM 2014 in Normandy, next summer.

Our Fashion & Style Ladies Days are some of the ultimate social days out of the year and the chance for ladies to dress up and meet their friends. Fashion and glamour are two of the most important ingredients of any raceday and throughout the year the Curragh stages a series of ladies days offering superb prizes to the most stylish and our next ladies day will take place on Gain Irish St Leger day on Sunday 15th September.

Guineas Spring Festival

The event attracts a diverse range of race goers including racing enthusiasts, punters, socialites, fashion aficionados, entertainment seekers and families. Saturday 25th May features a clash of Europe’s top colts in Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas (Group 1). Other races include the Weatherbys Ireland Greenlands Stakes with top sprinters from Ireland and Britain featuring in the six furlong contest, The Abu Dhabi Stakes (Group 3), Cold Move Marble Hill Stakes (Listed) also feature as part an exciting seven race programme.
