Barbara Donnelly School of Dance Greystones is a professionally run dance school for students ranging from tiny-tots to adults, holding classes in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre Dance and Jazz for all ages, with each student is taught personally by Barbara.
Dance Magic Showing in the Mermaid Theatre Bray 19th 20th May
Barbara is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, having trained in London and Ireland. Barbara has produced many concerts and shows, with her students performing every second year in Mermaid Theatre Bray. The last show, `Dance Magic`, was May 2009.
Through dance, the students learn sense of concentration, co-ordination, discipline and fitness, though most of all, the sheer joy of dance itself. The students work towards Royal Academy of Dance Exams. In the past years the success rate has been 100% pass distinction.
This year, a new adult class is being introduced, Ballet for Beginners. ``Whether you have done Ballet as a child or not, but dream to Ballet Dance all whilst de-stressing, losing weight, toning up and most importantly meeting new people and having fun``.
