Baltinglass Golf Club is hosting their version of ‘The Gathering’ on the weekend of the 13^th, 14^th and 15^th of September. All members and a lot of past members have been invited to participate in this unique event.

The main event is a Golf Classic. The format will be a 4 Person Team Event with the entry costing €100. Included in the competition will be a longest drive, a most accurate drive, and nearest the pin on all Par 3’s. For an extra €5 there will be a Yellow ball competition.

For players who can’t make up a 4 ball, there is a facility in place to help them, just ask any ‘Gathering’ committee member and they will be delighted to help.

For those of us who can’t make the weekend tee boxes and greens are available for sponsorship at a cost of €50.

To give you a flavour of some of the prizes:

1^st Prize will be Green Fees for 4 in Castlemartyr, Little Island & Douglas plus 2 nights’ dinner bed & breakfast

2^nd Prize will be Green Fees for 4 in Bunclody, Rosslare & St.Helen’s Bay plus 2 nights’ bed & breakfast. Along with many other prizes there will also be prizes for an all Ladies team and Non GUI teams.
