Welcome to Akina Beauty and Laser Clinic, one of Dublin’s premier Beauty Salons. At Akina we provide relaxing treatments but results are always at the forefront of our minds. We specialise in Laser Treatments, Electrolysis and Advanced Skin Care. Our treatments offer genuine clinical value as well as long lasting benefits. Eavanna Breen has worked as a beauty therapist since 1991. In this time she has worked alongside cosmetic surgeons, doctors and naturopaths. She specialises in diathermy, advanced skin care and laser treatment. With the knowledge and training that she had accrued over the years she decided to open a beauty salon that reflected the specific needs of her clients and 2006 saw the launch of Akina Beauty and Laser Salon in Dublin. Eavanna regularly acts in an advisory capacity to numerous publications and beauty related websites.

SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETICS

Semi- Permanent Make-up otherwise known as Micropigmentation is a lasting enhancement of the facial features. A colour pigment is introduced into the skin using very fine needles in a safe and hygienic manner. Look your best every moment of your life. Permanent make up stays with you every day, 24/7. It doesn’t wash off, smudge, or get runny- ever. You can look your best from the moment you wake up in the morning, all through the day, during workout sessions and as you lay down at night. Typically, eyebrows are the most popular area that people have treated with semi permanent make up. Eyebrows are often over plucked or lost due to illness, semi permanent make up can help you to achieve a natural look with perfectly shaped eyebrows that smooth the brow and give definition to your face.




BEAUTY TREATMENTS

Imagine waking up every with long, thick, luscious lashes, now you can with Xtreme Lashes. Eyelash extensions are not like the traditional strips of fake lashes that only last one or two wears, they are semi-permanent eyelash extensions. Individual Xtreme lashes are applied to your own natural eyelash using a safe bonding agent. Lashes are made of synthetic fibres that provide a natural look and feel. The eyelashes are curved and sized to look as if they are your own. Eyelash extensions are loved by celebrities; they are so completely natural looking you never know who has them on. HAIR REMOVAL

Laser works by selectively heating the target (the hair) while preserving the surrounding tissue. Permanent hair reduction is achieved by using heat to disable the hair follicle and therefore over time preventing regrowth. Usually a series of treatments are carried out for optimal long term benefits, the number of treatments required depends on the skin type and the hair growth. A patch test will be needed prior to the commencement of treatment. Prices start at €90 and vary depending on the area being treated. Our qualified therapists will explain the process in full detail with you during the consultation, which is free of charge.
